How to Achieve a Positive Mindset

My Tips

If you want to have a positive mindset, these tips are for you!

-Journaling

Write down all the good and what you are grateful for every day. This will help you realize that there is SO much good in your life and in the world. I try to do this every morning and it really helps me start my day with a positive mindset.

-Positive Self Talk

It is very important to make sure that the voice in your head is telling you positive things instead of negative! Instead of saying, “I can’t do this”, say, “I am not able to do this YET.” Saying that will help you realize that just because you aren’t able to do something today, doesn’t mean you won’t be able to do it tomorrow or the next day. Positive self talk= Positive Mindset

-Surround yourself with Positive People

Surround yourself with people who are positive and optimistic rather than negative! Be with people who bring you up rather than tear you down. By doing this, you’ll be around more positivity leading you to eventually be positive and have the right mindset!

-Understand that You Can’t Change your Circumstances

The only thing you can change in your life is how you react to your circumstances. Not everything will always go as planned or turn out how you wanted it to. Once you realize you have little control on what is happening, you’ll realize it is best to just be positive no matter what. It can be very hard to understand this, and it takes time, but once you learn this you’ll be so much happier and positive!

  1. Thank you for this weeks blog Sierra! I needed to read something like this. You are absolutely right, when things do not go the way we planned we have the tendency to stress. However the best solution is to be positive and have faith.
