Why Failure Can Be Okay

Welcome to this week’s blog post! I hope you enjoy and leave feeling inspired!

Raise your hand if you have ever failed at something. Raise your hand if you have ever used failure to push yourself to succeed.

I’m sure all of us have experienced failure in our life. But the question is, what do you do after you fail? Do you just quit and give up? Of course not. I used to always think failing at something meant that I was a failure. But that’s not even close to the truth. Failure is just a part of success.

For example: I’m pretty sure running up a mountain is difficult. You may stumble across rocks and fall in the dirt. But, falling forward still counts as progress. A fall with get you closer to the top. You see, obtaining success is difficult. You may encounter different setbacks and difficulties. But, even if you fail to overcome those obstacles, you’re still one step closer to success.

Failing at something just shows that you are on the road to success.

Failing and using that as motivation to work harder is okay. Failing and giving up is not okay.

Next time you fail, don’t get so down on yourself. Most people won’t even try at something for the fear of not being able to succeed. In order to succeed, you have to fail ❤
